Quick start guide
This guide takes you from a new account to your first live chat. Most people finish in about ten minutes.
Create your account
Create your workspace at agent.briolivechat.com with your name, email, company and website. It takes about a minute and your workspace starts empty.
Copy your site key
In your workspace open Settings, then Install code. Your site key is a short code that starts with bl_.
Install the widget
Follow the guide for your platform: WordPress, Shopify, WHMCS or any website.
Go online
Open the agent dashboard and set your status to Online.
Test it
Open your website in a private browser window, start a chat and reply from the dashboard.
Use a private browser window when you test, so the dashboard does not treat you as your own visitor.
Use Brio on your phone
Android with Chrome
Open the agent dashboard, tap the menu and choose Install app.
iPhone with Safari
Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Allow notifications when asked.
